Welcome to my first ever blog
This is the first time I start blogging
Welcome, welcome
Hello everyone, it feels weird writing a blog and putting it online for the first time. I believe it's because I have been hiding away from social media for too long, barely sharing anything on the internet, that's why I want to break out of that cycle today. Thanks to the motivation of Ali Abdaal's Why Everyone Needs a Personal Website, this website is born.
Why don't you start one too?
If we go back in the time machine, making a website was daunting back in the 2010s, when technology was just booming with YouTube, Facebook, etc. But right now, starting one is pretty easy. Actually, you can go on WordPress or Wix, put in some effort decorating it with their own CMS (content management system) tools, and you already get yourself a website going. One thing you might encounter if you are a novice designer is that you might not get it customized exactly how you wanted. You can make a step further by utilizing new era tools like Codex, Claude, Antigravity, etc. If you care about this kind of content and this is your first time here, feel free to drop down a comment to let me know.
What you can write
I would like to keep this first blog short, but I think one of the biggest questions when starting a personal website is: what do I even write about? For me, I don't think there should be any rules. You can write about things you are learning, things you are building, random thoughts, mistakes you made, or just something you found interesting recently. I will probably use this blog to write about software engineering, projects I am working on, career, technology, and maybe other random things along the way. I also think writing things down is a good way to keep track of yourself. Maybe in a few years I can come back here and see how different my thoughts were. That's pretty much it for the first post. Nothing too serious, just finally putting something out there. See you in the next one.
